Palm of Dubai

The Palm of Dubai is in United Arab Emirates. It is an artificial island. This island takes the form of a palm tree and the tree trunk consists in the main avenue. It has got Villas, apartments, restaurants, theme parks, entertainment areas, shopping centers and luxury hotels. It is the biggest artificial island in the world. It is bigger than Santa Klara Island in Donostia and it is smaller than Hawaii. The construction started in 2001 and finished in 2006.
